The purpose of the invention is to provide a sound absorbing and heat insulating material with a pattern thereon. The invention material is to have the remaining fiber hair eliminated and also have a clearly visible pattern planted on one or both surfaces of the invention material. Also the invention material is made of sound absorbing and heat insulating PET resin with the bulk density under 1 and with evenly flattened surface of enhanced strength differentiated from the material body. Therefore, the aforementioned surface stands well against outer scratches due to enhanced surface strength. Especially when it is incorporated as interior finishing material into building composition, the invention material yields an outstanding effect for a smooth and fine finishing.
