<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic marking method in which information is hardly erased in a rolling process accompanying light rolling reduction and in other treatment processes. SOLUTION: A magnetic marking 2 is imparted by magnetizing a whole section in the width direction of a steel strip 1 along a width direction. By this method, magnetic poles having different magnetic polarities are formed at both edges. In this case, the magnetization is conducted not in a localized section but over the whole width direction, thus, the magnetization is hardly subjected to deterioration.</p> |
