<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific gravity separation recovery apparatus wherein a composite waste cast into a tank is surely dipped below a bath surface of a medium, and floating matter comprising mainly plastics can be floated up near to the bath surface from the dipped composite waste while its operation method is provided. SOLUTION: A composite waste is casted intermittently from a feeder 28 on the tank so as to be restored between one set of scrapers 34 of a scraper conveyor 35 provided in a casing 30 for dipping separation. The composite waste restored between the scrapers 34 descends successively and intermittently to be dipped in the medium, and is separated by specific gravity into floating matter which is mainly plastics and precipitates of metals and the like. The floating matter ascends altogether as restored between the scrapers 34, and is exhausted to a casing 26 for dipping separation side from an opening 30c at a side face part in the casing 30 for dipping separation.</p> |
