PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for analyzing a transcriptome and also a gene found out by the above method or protein encoded by the above gene. SOLUTION: This new method for analyzing a genom is a method for determining whether a particular zone is a gene-expressing site or not on a continuous optional DNA sequence presenting in a genom of an optional biological species, of which base sequence is known but whether it is a gene-expressing site or not is not known, by detecting whether a base sequence corresponding to the base sequence in the above zone is present or not in a RNA sequence derived from the above biological species, and a method for determining the gene-expressing sites for covering an optional area of a genom or whole genom as an object by repeating the above method is also provided. |
