PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a T-die which stably produces a vinyl alcohol polymer film with a uniform thickness, best-suited for a polarizing film for a long time and also the polarizing film almost free from optical mottles, manufactured using the vinyl alcohol polymer film with the help of the T-die. SOLUTION: The T-die 1 for manufacturing the vinyl alcohol polymer film has a packing 8 which is arranged between a die body 1a and a side plate 9 and seals a raw material for manufacturing the film containing a vinyl alcohol polymer. The packing 8 is made of a plastic with the surface, of a part coming into contact with the liquid, which shows a melt point of 170 deg.C or higher and a critical surface tension of 30μN/cm or less. |
