ADSORBENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adsorbent having excellent adsorption efficiency and adsorption ability by preparing porous polyamide particles controlled to have a uniform particle size. SOLUTION: The adsorbent consists of polyamide porous particles having 1 to 30 g/cm2 BET specific surface area by the nitrogen adsorption method, 1 to 20μm average particle size and 1.0 to 1.3 ratio of the volume average particle size to the number average particle size. In the method for manufacturing the adsorbent, the polyamide porous particles are precipitated from a uniform solution prepared by adding a nonsolvent polyamide and water to an aromatic alcohol solution of polyamide.
