PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head in which heat dissipation effect is enhanced furthermore and an ink jet recorder comprising it. SOLUTION: The recording head 1 being carried on a carriage 23 moving in the main scanning direction in an ink jet recorder comprises an ejecting section 5 generating energy for ejecting ink, a supporting member 4 conducting heat from the ejecting section 5, and a housing 3 for supporting the supporting member 4 wherein a space communicating with the outer air is provided between the housing 3 and the supporting member 4.
