PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely guide a bobbin thread which extends from a bobbin case in a specified direction, and increase the reliability of an automatic bobbin thread feeding device in respective processes. SOLUTION: This bobbin replacing device 20 is equipped with a chuck 1 and a carrying means. In this case, the chuck 1 performs the gripping and the releasing of the bobbin case 40. Also, the chuck 1 is equipped with a thread end holding member 7 which holds a thread end extending from the bobbin case. The carrying means comprising a turning means 21 and a direct acting means 30 carries the bobbin case 40 gripped by the chuck 1 along a specified moving path. For such a bobbin-replacing device 20, a third air nozzle 6 and a CPU 71 are equipped. In this case, a third air nozzle 6 is disposed in the vicinity of a thread end guiding location A on the moving path, and jets air to the bobbin case which stops at the location A while being gripped by the chuck 1 so that the thread end may be held by the thread end holding member 7. The CPU 71 controls the carrying means in such a manner that the bobbin case may stop at the location A for one time, and at the same time, air may be output from the third air nozzle 6 when the bobbin case stops for one time.
