PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitted body capable of being accurately fitted by matching the coefficient of thermal expansion thereof to that of the other member and also provide a method of manufacturing the fitted body. SOLUTION: In this fitted body, at least one side member is formed of a metal-ceramics composite material using a metal as a matrix and a ceramics as a reinforcing material.
