PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work gripping technology capable of dispensing with removing a work gripping claw in attaching and detaching a work in a finishing machine, and automating each operation for gripping the work and replacing the claws. SOLUTION: A work gripping claw part is operated by utilizing the displacement operation of a tool turret, thereby positioning and releasing the work gripping part in the claw part, and rotating a designated work gripping surface to be replaced according to a finishing purpose, and the operation is combined with the moving operation of the whole of the claw part on a chuck.
