PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming a packaging box which can assemble the packaging box having corner columns at four inside corners automatically from a flat blank. SOLUTION: The first folding device 41 is installed in the first folding part 30a formed downstream from a feed part 1, and the fourth flaps formed at the four corners of the blank B are folded to positions arranged on the upper surface of the third flap and bonded. The second folding device 61, the third folding device 81, and a press device 91 are installed in the second folding part formed downstream from the first folding part 30a, and a pair of corner columns is formed in the upper surface both end parts of a pair of the side panels of the blank B by the actuation of each device. The blank B is pushed down by a push-down device 101 installed downstream from the second folding part 30b, and a pair of the side panels and a pair of end surface panels of the blank are erected by the contact between a pair of side flap folding guides 104 and a pair of end surface flap folding guides 105 which are installed below the blank B to form the packaging box. |
