PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, internal pressure strength and durability. SOLUTION: The tubular body 10 is composed of an inner layer 11 constituted of a thermoplastic resin and an outer layer 12 constituted of a fiber-reinforced (or particle-reinforced) norbornene-series polymer. The tubular body is obtained by a method wherein, a tubular body of the thermoplastic resin is used as an inner mold, a resin composition constituted mainly of a norbornene-series monomer, a particle and a metathetical polymerization catalyst is filled in a gap part formed by disposing the inner mold inside an outer mold and the outer mold is removed after polymerization.
