APPLIANCE FOR DRILL EXTENSION FOR DENTAL IMPLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance for drill extension for a dental implant which is capable of extending a drill for drilling the jaw bone in dental implant treatment without using a tool like a screw driver and includes an internal water filling function. SOLUTION: The terminal side of the appliance is formed as a shank part 1 which meets the standards of the drill for an angle handpiece complying with the requirements stipulated in JIS and the front end side thereof is formed as a drill mounting section 2 which is pierced with a cylindrical hole 3 to be inserted with the shank part of the drill along its central axis. A plane projecting part 4 which is transmitted with rotation by abutment of the plane part formed on the terminal flank of the shank part of the drill is formed in the deep part on the shank part 1 side of the cylindrical hole 3. A portion 5 of the cylindrical hole 3 is tapered to narrow the shank part 1 side so as to abut on the shank part of the drill and is further pierced with a central through-hole 6 penetrating to the cylindrical hole 3 from the center at the terminal of the shank part 1. A packing 7 which fits to the front end of the internal water filling nozzle is mounted in a portion of the central through-hole 6.
