PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing sheet excellent in deodorizing capacity and also excellent in air permeability and wearing feeling when directly put on the body and in particular suitably used in various sanitary articles, and a method for efficiently manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The deodorizing sheet is formed by holding adsorbing substance particles 3 between two base materials same or different in kind selected from the group consisting of air permeable paper, a fabric and a nonwoven fabric through a binder resin layer 2. The adsorbing substance particles 3, of which the particle size is larger than the thickness of the binder resin layer 2, are provided to the inner surface of at least one of two base materials 1 through the binder resin layer 2 and through-holes 4 are provided to the binder resin layer 2 at a large number of places corresponding to the mutual gaps between the adjacent adsorbing substance particles 3.
