PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flux cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding in which, in high heat input-high interpass temperature welding, deterioration in strength and toughness is improved, the amount of slag to be generated is reduced, and stable welding workability or the like are provided. SOLUTION: The wire for arc welding obtained by filling flux into an outer skin made of steel has a composition containing, by the total mass of the wire, an arc stabilizer of 0.15 to 1.8% and containing 0.02 to 0.15% C, 0.3 to 1.8% Si, 0.8 to 4.0% Mn, 0.02 to 0.3% Ti and 0.001 to 0.01% (10 to 100 ppm) B, and in which flux filling ratio is 3 to 10%. Further, one or more kinds selected from <=0.7% Mo, <=1.5% Ni and <=1.0% Cr may be incorporated therein. As the arc stabilizer, one or more kinds selected from a composite substance containing Na2O and TiO2 of <=1.8%, an Na2O source of 0.3% by the value conversed in terms of Na2O and a TiO2 source of <=1.5% by the value conversed in terms of TiO2 are contained.
