DRY ICE SPRAYING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry ice spraying apparatus having a simple structure and capable of economically spraying dry ice. SOLUTION: A liquefied carbon dioxide gas L in a gas introduction chamber 1 is led to a gas expansion chamber 3 through an orifice valve 2 to produce dry ice particles D and the dry ice particles D are sprayed together with dew formation prevention gas G out of the tip of a spraying cylinder 5. A gas dividing part 4 is formed in the base end side of the spraying cylinder 5 in the downstream side of the gas expansion chamber 3 to partition a dry ice route 6 and a gas flow route 7 in the spraying cylinder 5. A heating means 8 is adjacently installed in the gas flow route 7 and a mixed fluid of the dry ice particles D and the carbon dioxide gas in the gas expansion chamber 3 is divided by the dividing part 4 to pass the mixed fluid containing the dry ice particles D through the dry ice route 6 and the mixed fluid passing through the gas flow route 7 is heated by the heating means 8 to produce the dew formation prevention gas G.
