PURPOSE: To develop a drastic die casting apparatus with which a small size thin die casting product can be produced. CONSTITUTION: The die casting apparatus is peculiarly constituted of a die casting machine (B) having a die (1) for die casting and a die sleeve (26) incorporated in an engraving portion (19) formed in a fixed plate (20) fitted to a fixed die (1a) in the die (1) for die casting and arranging a molten metal receiving sprue (28) in the above engraving portion (19), and a melting furnace (2) having a crucible (40) for holding the molten metal, disposed so as to be approachable/ separatable to the die casting machine (B), a molten metal supplying pump (17) disposed in the crucible (40) and a runner tube (3) connected with a spouting hole (49b) of the molten metal supplying pump (17) at the one end (60) and connected so as to be able to position with the molten metal receiving sprue (28) of the die sleeve (26) in the die (1) for die casting at the other end (64) so as to supply the molten metal (5).
