PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for a cat capable of preventing a malodor emitted from excreta of the cat from diffusing into a room and having excellent convenience and practicality. SOLUTION: This toilet 10 for the cat is equipped with a sand container 11 for treating the excreta, a domed cover 12 detachably covering the top surface of the sand container 11, an entrance and exit 15 for the cat formed by notching an opening and closing door 14 shakably hung on the side of the domed cover 12, an electric ventilating fan 16 arranged on the ceiling part 12b of the domed cover 12 and a stretchable ventilating tube 17 having a base end 17a connected to a vent port 16b of the ventilating fan 16 and the tip 17b connected to an outside air communicating port 19 provided in a window 18 of a building.
