PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary belt which has no joint for making the belt a ring and is excellent in conductivity and rotational properties and a method for manufacturing the belt. SOLUTION: On the outside or inside surface of a resin belt base layer which is formed in a ring and has no joint, metal layers 12 ranging from one end to the other end in the axial direction of the belt base layer 11 are arranged in parallel, and the surfaces of the metal layers are exposed on the outside or inside surface of the belt base layer 11.
