PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate cutting apparatus which can improve an efficiency of cutting operation by accurately rapidly cutting many gate portions existing in a resin molded material. SOLUTION: A first drive source 30 and a second drive source 40 are driven according to a program input in controlling means 70 to successively make many gate portions 3 face the lower side of a cutting blade 20. If there is no inclination on a plane of projection of the facing gate portion 3 and on a vertical plane of projection thereof, a third drive source 50 is driven to cut the gate portion 3. If there is inclination on the plane of projection of the facing gate portion 3, a fourth drive source 60 is driven to make the cutting blade 20 incline on the plane of projection and then a third drive source 50 is driven to cut the gate portion 3. If there is inclination on the vertical plane of projection of the facing gate portion 3, at least one of the first drive source 30 and the second drive source 40 is driven synchronizing with the third drive source 50 to cut the gate portion 3.
