PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for treating pet urine, so designed as to prevent urine from smelling and to improve handling properties when used. SOLUTION: This material for treating pet urine is obtained by coating a material for treating pet urine, made by coating wood flour with bentonite and a thickener, with 0.22-2.2 wt.% of a phosphoric acid as a deodorant material.
