PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed and trees-mowing unit capable of turning in lengthwise and breadth wise directions relative to the mounted arm, and also suppressing its swing caused by the self-weight of the mowing machine. SOLUTION: This weed and tree-mowing machine capable of freely rotating in lengthwise and breadth wise directions is provide by constituting a mounting bracket of the mowing machine joined to an arm side member of the entrenching machine with two members of an operating bracket turning in lengthwise direction relative to the arm side member and a supporting bracket turning in breadth wise direction relative to the operating bracket. The angle- regulating means for suppressing the turning of the supporting bracket and the main body of the mowing machine which is one unit with it, caused by their self weight and allowing the rotation by a forcing power is installed. The angle-regulating mechanism is constituted by fitting a frictional plate engaged with the operating bracket as not capable of rotating overlapped with a frictional plate engaged with the supporting bracket as not capable of rotating to the joining shaft of the operating bracket with the supporting bracket, and elastically squeezing them from their outside through a plate spring.
