METHOD FOR VEGETATING SEAWEED IN EARLY STAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for vegetating seaweeds in an early stage by which the objective seaweeds can be vegetated on the surfaces of various kinds of block structures in the sea such as a concrete present in a shallow sea area with slight seaweeds in the surroundings in the early stage and a seaweed bed can surely be formed even on the surfaces of the block structures in the surroundings thereof after the second to the third year. SOLUTION: A small groove 2 capable of driving a wooden pile 4 is formed in the surface of a structure 1 in the sea and the wooden pile 4 having a rope 3 wound with seeds or spores of the seaweeds previously sticking thereto is driven into the small groove 2 to vegetate the seaweeds.
