PORTABLE TERMINAL FOR IMPROVING SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE

PURPOSE: A portable terminal for improving an SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) is provided to install a sleeve antenna opposite to a speaker of a PCB, so as to prevent a current from flowing into the PCB and to reduce the SAR by decreasing peripheral electronic fields around a user's head. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve antenna(6) is installed opposite to a speaker(7) of a PCB(1) of a portable telephone body. The sleeve antenna(6) is composed of an antenna element(62) installed on a PCB(61) and a dielectric sleeve(63). A transceiving circuit(8) and the sleeve antenna(6) are connected to each other through a coaxial cable(9), to mount the dielectric sleeve(63) on a front part of the coaxial cable(9). An external conductor is connected to an inner circumference conductor of the dielectric sleeve(63). A central conductor(92) is connected to a feed point(64) of the antenna element(62).
