PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storing device capable of returning to normal operations in its early stages when recovering from a power failure. SOLUTION: This image storing device is provided with an image input part 2, an image memory 13, a plurality of image management tables 12a, a backup memory 11 storing that the device was in middle of image storing if a power failure occurs during storing of an image input from the image input part 2 to the image memory 13, and a control part 1 reading the backup memory 11 when recovering from the power failure and executing a mutual verification of contents of the plurality of image management tables 12a if the device was in middle of image storing. |
