PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of suppressing the power consumption by operating only at the time when a need arises and by measuring only when a measuring object is in operation, to the utmost. SOLUTION: This device has a constitution equipped with a current measuring means 4 for measuring the current from an input current to the measuring object 1, a time measuring means 5 for measuring the time, a power saving state shifting means 6 for shifting to the power saving state based on the current value measured by the current measuring means 4 and the time measured by the time measuring means 5, an operation detection means 7 for detecting the operation of the measuring object 1 in the shifting state to the power saving state by the power saving state shifting means 6, and a normal state shifting means 8 for resetting to the normal state when the operation is detected by the operation detection means 7. |
