PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a transmission capable of smoothly and easily executing the gear-shift with the change of gear-shift mode. SOLUTION: In the control device of a transmission with a non-stage transmission mechanism, a non-stage transmission mechanism for continuously changing the ratio of the input/output rotation frequencies, the ratio of the input rotation frequency to the output rotation frequency, and a gear-shift mechanism for selectively shifting gears are disposed between an input member and an output member. The control device comprises an engagement/releasing mechanism for varying the state of change of the gear ratio set by the transmission according to the change of the engagement/releasing conditions and mode changing means (steps S4, S5 and S7) for changing the engagement/releasing conditions of the engagement/releasing mechanism to vary the state of change of the gear ratio while the ratio of the input/output rotation frequencies of the non- stage transmission is fixed at a prescribed value. |
