PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stealthy photographing detecting device which is generally practical and can inexpensively and continuously detect stealthy photographing. SOLUTION: Frequency information equivalent to the respective channels of TV broadcast are sequentially transmitted to a TV tuner unit by the processings of steps S2 to S7. When an AFT signal exists as the result of a check in the step S5, it is checked whether the channel 'has broadcast' or not (S9). When the channel 'has broadcast', a TV broadcast radio wave is regular. When the channel 'does not have broadcast', the radio wave (broadcast) detected by the AFT signal is not the regular TV broadcast radio wave, and it is highly probably a stealthy photograph radio wave radiated from the transmitter of a stealthy photograph system. Thus, stealthy photographing is performed in such a case, a green lamp 4 is turned out (S10) and a red lamp 5 is lighted (S11).
