PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake damping device allowing installation of a damping apparatus without intercepting a line of sight and a view by a diagonal member and a wall surface regardless of the inside and outside of a building. SOLUTION: A building structure has at least one rigid light transmissive plate 200, at least one end part of the translucent plate 200 is fixed to a part of the building structure via the damping apparatus 300, and the other end part of the translucent plate 200 is fixed to the other part of the building structure.
