PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with electromagnetic shield to electromagnetic noise in a backlight light source of the coventional technology, to dispense with a countermeasure against non-lighting under darkness and at low temperature and to solve the inconvenient problems e.g. the shortness of equipment usable time due to much power consumption, the short life of the backlight light source itself, etc., in the backlight source of the conventional technology. SOLUTION: In a light source device of a display device, the display device is a transmission type or reflection type color liquid crystal panel 10 and the light source device consists of a red(R) LED, a blue(B) LED and a green(G) LED supplying light to the color liquid crystal panel 10 and a LED driver circuit 33 driving the LEDs (R), (B) and (G).
