PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide escrow service on-line. SOLUTION: A server 40 of an escrow operating company when notified of payment for a commodity from a server 30 of a financial institution instructs a client 20 as the seller of the commodity to send the commodity. When informed of the reception of the commodity from a client 10 as a buyer, the server 40 instructs the server 30 of the financial institution to transfer the money to a bank account of the seller of the commodity.
