The tyre monitor system has a first radio reception chain with a first antenna and a second radio reception chain with a second antenna defining an axis (D1). There is a radio signal phase comparator between the first and second antenna determining if the first antenna signal is in lead, lag or identical phase. The result is processed giving the position of the radio transmitter relative to the antenna.
