PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing sealing device for water pump capable of almost certainly preventing the cooling water, vapor, etc., from intruding into the bearing and also preventing the grease inside the bearing from flowing out. SOLUTION: A seal ring on the impeller side is composed of a reinforcing ring, an outer ring side seal ring 151 furnished with a first aux. lip 1512 and a main lip 1513 made of a resilient substance such as rubber or synthetic resin and a second aux. lip 1514 positioned outside more than the main lip 1513, a first cylindrical part 1521 fitted fast on a shaft, an intermediate part 1522 extended to outside more than the first cylindrical part, and a shaft side seal ring 152 having a second cylindrical part 1523 extended continuously therefrom in the axial direction and rotating together with the shaft, wherein the main lip 1513 is put in slide contact with the peripheral surface of the first cylindrical part 1521 of the shaft side seal ring 152 while the first aux. lip 1512 makes slide contact with the peripheral surface of a rotary member located inside more than the main lip 1513 in the axial direction, and the second aux. lip 1514 makes slide contact with the shaft side seal ring 152 outside more than the main lip 1513, and the portion extending toward the periphery of the shaft side seal ring 152 constitutes a labyrinth seal in the area to the outer ring side seal ring 151 or the outer ring 101. |
