PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying member having uniform electrifying property, free from stickiness to a photoreceptor and contaminating property and excellent in transferability and permanent stability of resistance and to provide an image forming device using the electrifying member. SOLUTION: The electrifying member has an electrically conductive elastic body obtained by mixing and vulcanizing NBR (acrylomitrile butadiene robber), a polar-nonpolar copolymer and a nonpolar polymer. The preferred proportions of the NBR, the polar-nonpolar copolymer and the nonpolar polymer are 20-70 parts, 1-30 parts and 10-50 parts, respectively. The polar-nonpolar copolymer is preferably a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer and the nonpolar polymer is preferably an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer. The surface of the electrifying member is preferably irradiated with UV. |
