PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a driving support control system as realizes a suitable cooperating relationship between a driver and a system. SOLUTION: A means for obtaining information on an obstacle in front is provided. At the time of detecting the obstacle, a driving operation supporting means decides a bypass based on a distance to the obstacle and its width and adds corresponding correction to map information for controlling driving support to support the driving operation of the vehicle.
