PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for uploading and transferring the information positioned on a digital memory element quickly and easily from various different places. SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, the information contained in a memory element can be uploaded to a central processing location or other position defined by user. It becomes possible for the memory element to be utilized for further use by uploading the content of the memory element. In one embodiment, this can be used to conveniently upload the content of the memory element of a digital camera, whereby the memory element can be made vacant and utilized for further use. The content of the memory element can be transferred to a processing position, and the information can be forwarded to the user there from. Moreover, an image can be utilized for the user through an internet WWF site. Or, the information can be made into conventional photographic printing, and it can be mailed to the user.
