PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable sensitive material having high sensitivity, less liable to fog, free of the deterioration of image quality due to voids, agglomerates, etc., and having improved raw stock preservability (preservability after exposure and development) and improved silver image preservability after development and to provide an image recording method and an image forming method each using the photosensitive material. SOLUTION: In the heat developable sensitive material containing an organic silver salt, sensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a binder and a crosslinker, 0.5-2 g hydrophilic binder based on 1 mol of the organic silver salt is contained and the organic silver salt is prepared using 7×1015-3×1017 photosensitive silver halide grains based on 1 mol of the organic silver salt.
