PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a small-sized and simple electromagnetic signal transmitter with high reliability. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic signal transmitter includes a waveguide 6 and receives a signal to be given to either of two function modules 1, 1' that are organized to obtain two-for-one redundancy from one input IN of the waveugide. The waveguide whose other end is short-circuited is provided with two electric field samplers 8, 8'. Each of the electric field samplers 8, 8' is configured to feed power to one of the modules and placed at a prescribed distance apart form the short-circuited end of the waveugide an this distance is equal to 1/4 of the wavelength of the signal transmitted from the waveguide or an odd number of multiple of 1/4 of the wavelength. Each module is connected from its output O1 or O1' to a single pole or combination switch type recombination element 12, which transmits the signal from one or the other of the two modules to a post-stage of the transmitter.
