PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration wave driver having a small rotation unevenness or the like, a high accuracy and a long lifetime by reducing the unevenness of a vibration amplitude due to a vibration of a support and a twisting deformation of an annular ring part generated by an uneven rigidity part of a vibrator provided for supporting the vibrator and removing an unnecessary vibration. SOLUTION: An elastic member is fixed to a support member with k pieces of screws provided on the same circumference of a support 1-2 of the member 1. The uneven rigidity part 4 is provided in the circumferential direction of the member 1. When the number of driving degree of the driver formed at the member 1 is m, as the number k of the screws 12 is an aliquant with 2m as a quatient of an odd number such as, for example, m=9, K=12 is obtained. |
