METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EVALUATING VOICE QUALITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for voice quality evaluation which can easily evaluate the quality of a voice transmitted through a transmission line. SOLUTION: An amplitude-reduced basic voice data generation part 24 reads basic voice data out of a basic voice data storage part 23, and generates and outputs 1st amplitude-reduced basic voice data for obtaining a 1st amplitude- reduced basic voice signal having been reduced at a 1st rate and 2nd amplitude- reduced basic voice data for obtaining a 2nd amplitude-reduced basic voice signal having been reduced at a 2nd rate to a comparison part 25. The comparison part 25 finds the ratios of the difference in amplitude between the 1st amplitude-reduced basic voice signal and a voice signal to be evaluated and the difference in amplitude between the 2nd amplitude-reduced basic voice signal and the voice signal to be evaluated to the amplitude of the 1st amplitude-reduced basic voice signal according to the voice data to be evaluated which are outputted from a voice data input part 22 and the 1st and 2nd amplitude-reduced basic voice data outputted from the amplitude-reduced basic voice data generation part 24.
