PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support environment wherein a user generates and verifies a dictionary for information extraction. SOLUTION: The contents of the dictionary 109 for information extraction wherein multiple expressions and concepts as expressions of higher order common to those expressions are made to correspond to each other and expressions extracted from document data are displayed at the same time. When the user specifies an expression and a concept among the display contents, the specified expression is additionally registered in the dictionary 109 for information extraction while being made to correspond to the specified concept.
