PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a remote control device in an upright state without increasing the number of parts, and to display a magnified picture of main items on a liquid crystal screen with the device kept in the upright state. SOLUTION: A flip-type cover 6 is mounted on the bottom of the remote control device 1, is rotated toward the back side of the device by a rotation mechanism 7 as shown by an arrow, and the device is prevented from slipping by a stopper 8 provided on the end of the cover. In this way, the device can be kept in an upright state by using the cover as a supporter. A two-way communication method is employed for the device, and conditions set by setting buttons 3-5 or received operating information is displayed on a display section 2 constituted by a liquid crystal panel. A switch, which operates by being pressed with the cover in an upright state, is provided on the bottom of the device, and the display on the section 2 is switched to magnified display by the operation of the switch. |
