PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for grasping the operating condition of another sector and for operating the sector which has a margin in operation in place of a faulty sector when the sector cannot operate because of a fault, in a system having an antenna capable of controlling its directivity. SOLUTION: In a radio base station device having an antenna system corresponding to sectors in a cellular communication system, this antenna switching system has a means for confirming the operating state of the other operating sector while using an SIR(Signal/Interference signal) value based on a received signal when the function of one sector is judged as a fault during the system operation and for controlling the antenna of a sector for which the number of times of operation is judged little, and means for operating the system by providing the directivity of the antenna both in the sector for which the number of times of operation is judged little and in the faulty sector. |
