PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrain a fuel cell system from discharging water by preventing excess compressed air from passing through a humidifier during rapid deceleration. SOLUTION: The system comprises a compressor 23 for compressing air, a humidifier 25 supplying compressed air humidified to a fuel dell 26, a capacitor 27 for retrieving water from exhaust air of the fuel cell 26, a water tank 28 as well as a water pump 34 for storing water retrieved and supplying the same to the humidifier 25, and a purge valve 36 fitted at downstream of the compressor 23 and upstream of the humidifier 25 for selectively relieving compressed air outside. The purge valve 36 is opened when a vehicle is decided to have rapidly slowed down and at the same time, a detected volume of water in the water tank 28 is less than the preset value. |
