PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction processing system which examines whether or not credit information has changed according to the telephone number of a customer each time the customer uses an automatic transaction device and inquires of the customer immediately when so. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with an ISDN connection means which is connected to ISDN and communicates according to the protocol of ISDN, an ISDN calling means which obtains the telephone number of the customer include din customer information corresponding to a customer ID received from a terminal computer at the start of transaction processing and makes a call based upon the telephone number as a termination number through the ISDN connection means, an absent number detecting means which recognizes that the termination number is absent by analyzing a message transferred from ISDN in response to the calling, and an inquiry means which instructs the terminal computer in transaction processing to issue a message inquiring of the customer about the telephone number of the customer when the absent number detecting means recognizes the termination number is absent. |
