PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a problem that when a digital camera is considerably reduced in size, a relative size of a connection cable becomes large, making it inconvenient to carry the connection cable, and the connection cable must be taken out to connect the camera and a monitor each time image pickup data is checked, which is a troublesome job. SOLUTION: An image pickup section 12 is formed on one end of the main body 10 of the camera, while a connection pin for outputting a video signal is formed on the other end thereof. An image pickup signal obtained by the image pickup section 12 is outputted as an NTSC composite signal from the connection pin 14. Due to this structure, the image can be displayed on the monitor just by connecting the connection pin 14 directly to a video input terminal of the monitor. |
