MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for a battery being optimum for sealing an opening part of a battery container and with high reliability by using a heat sealable sheet as the battery container also serving as an outer case. SOLUTION: A seal device in manufacturing of the battery is equipped with a chamber 1 housing a seal mechanism 10 for sealing the opening part by melting a work W which is the battery container and set in a specified pressure condition; an inlet side pressure replacing chamber 2 installed in an inlet part of the chamber 1, having an inner shutter 6 capable of opening and closing between the chamber and itself, and capable of changing almost the same low pressure condition as the inside of the chamber to the atmospheric pressure; and an outlet side pressure replacing chamber 3 installed in an outlet part of the chamber, having an inner shutter 7 capable of opening and closing between the chamber and itself, and capable of changing almost the same low pressure condition as the inside of the chamber 1 to the atmospheric pressure.
