PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dubbing in a unit of a piece of music in an arbitrary desired sound recording mode out of an analog input sound recording mode and a digital input sound recording mode without needing users' labor. SOLUTION: The analog output terminal and digital output terminal of a CD playback part 5 are connected with the analog input terminal and digital input terminal of an MD sound recording part 6, respectively. If the selection of music numbers and the selection as to which of analog input sound recording mode and digital input sound recording mode is to be employed is made by employing an operation part 7 about each of a plurality of requested pieces of music of a CD3, a control part 9 registers the selected music number as a program piece of music, and the selected sound recording mode is registered in a state where the mode is correlated with the program piece of music. If the dubbing start is instructed by the operation part 7, the control part 9 controls the CD playback part 5 and MD sound recording part 6 and performs dubbing in the sound recording mode registered in correlation with the program piece of music from the CD3 to the recordable MD4 sequentially about each program piece of music.
