PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling type base isolation device of a constitution capable of isolating vibrations without causing eating of base isolation pans into a base isolation pan connecting member to smoothly start relative movement, even when the base isolation pans and the base isolation pan connecting member start the relative movement in a horizontal direction immediately after occurring the torsion. SOLUTION: The base isolation pan 2 has linear rail sliding portions 2b, 2b and the base isolation pan 3 has linear rail sliding portions 3b, 3b. The linear rail sliding portions 2b, 2b, 3b, 3b are projected outside a rails 4b, etc., of the base isolation pan connecting member 4.
