PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-condensing unit for a rooflight window, increasing the amount of the sunlight let in through the rooflight window, even when the angle of incidence of the sunlight is made smaller on the north side or in winter, in the morning, in the evening, etc. SOLUTION: The light-condensing unit for the rooflight window 1 is used to condense sunlight; a light condensing member A, having dioptric performance or light diffusion performance, is installed in such a manner as to cover at least part of the upper section of the window 1; and reflected light 5, brought about by the reflection of the sunlight with the small angle of incidence off the glass surface 2 of the window 1, is reduced by being subjected to refraction or diffusion for the purpose of increasing the amount of the light condensed into the window 1. Preferably, the unit is formed into a dome shape and installed, in such a manner as to allow the whole window 1 to be covered with a light condensing member B.
